This is the repository archive of unsorted documents from the old EUROFER website, retained here so they are available if needed for historical or research reasons.

You can access the publications from the old website here. They are unsorted, though they have the year of their publication appended to their names for easy reference. They include annual reports for past years, past European Steel in Figures guides and past manifestos, among other superannuated publications.

Press release: Steel industry backs EU energy push but calls for structural changes to deliver affordable electricity

Brussels 20 March 2026 - The European Steel Association (EUROFER) welcomes the European Council conclusions adopted 19 March that recognises affordable energy is essential to competitiveness, decarbonisation ambitions and Europe’s industrial future. However, the steel sector warns that unless the response measures are designed and implemented effectively, they risk falling short of delivering both immediate relief and the structural changes needed to protect Europe’s industrial base.
